Many marine organisms utilize Vanadium; deficiencies can reduce growth and impair
reproduction.
At .02 ppm and above enzyme function required to maintain acid-base balance in tissue
through the inter-conversion of carbon dioxide and bicarbonate, and to assist the
transport of carbon dioxide out of tissues, is negatively influenced. The most notable
negative impact of elevated Vanadium levels is on the sea Anemone.
Maintaining natural levels of Vanadium is recommended in your system. Dosing is
possible with commercially available additives and is recommended. |
