Research has shown that up to 0.1 ppm Uranium will increase the growth of marine
Amphipods by as much as 23%. At higher levels, growth rate is reduced, sex ratio
is biased toward female and respiration is lower.
Maintaining natural levels of Uranium is recommended in your system and is easily
achieved with regular water changes and a good quality salt mix.
