Lead is a toxin above trace levels and although it is reccomended that you maintain
Lead levels in your aquarium close to or below that found in natural seawater, acceptable potable water Lead levels are typically 0.01 ppm, making this task difficult in
some regions. RO/DI water combined with a good quality
salt mix will suffice in
the maintenance of adequate Lead levels in most systems.
Regular maintenance of your RO/DI system as well as activated carbon filtration
in your system will help keep Lead at appropriate levels.
