Boron aids in coral and coralline algae growth. Elevated levels may be a result of
poor quality salt mixes or the use of supplements with elevated boron concentrations.
It is recommended that you maintain Boron levels in your aquarium close to that
found in natural seawater. This can be done by following a weakly water change regimen
with clean source water and using a good quality salt mix.
